About

I am a genuine outdoor industry advocate that has worked in marketing action-sports brands for over ten years. Living in Jackson, WY provides the ultimate testing grounds for gear and inspiration for creativity.

I graduated from college with a BA in marketing in 2001. As an avid kayaker, skier and outdoor enthusiast, I sought a professional opportunity where I could do what I love. I co-founded Clear H2O Films, a production company in 2001 and was able to kayak, ski, and support myself financially while doing it.

I currently work for Eddie Bauer promoting their First Ascent clothing line. I am responsible for the logistics and travel of the First Ascent Airstream. I have worked on the Warren Miller Tour, Teva Mountain Games, Aspen Outside Fest and on numerous photo shoots including one for GQ magazine.

Working at Teton Gravity Research with the New Media team was a phenomenal experience to better my computer and web skills. As the online video manager I was responsible for: syndicating TGR’s web videos, managing TetonGravity.com’s online video content and video channels, organizing and growing TGR’s You Tube channel, video analytics, strategy implementation and analysis, building sponsor and partner relationships.

As an athlete I represent Jackson Kayak, Kokatat, Sweet Protection, and Mountain Athlete. I have promoted the brands I work with through social media, photo, video, and personal representation for over ten years.

In the future I plan to continue building my diverse skill set as I always have a thirst for knowledge.  I want to spend as much time as possible with my wife, professional freeskier Jess McMillan and our dogs.  In the end I want to motivate people to get outside and go for an adventure.
